It's not tissue, but 100% Cotton Muslin Fabric. As such, it hides alot of the structural stuff. Then, on this plane I used 2 coats of gray latex primer paint over the whole plane. That did a bunch more to hide the "starved horse" look of stick and tissue construction. Then 2 coats of green latex color on the top of the aircraft, then 2 coats of the brown... Went thru some paint on this baby, eh?
Look at the build fotos, and you'll see the fabric installation. Howard, (kittyfritters) suggested a couple of yars ago that I buy a book on fabric for real planes, so I did. Made me dangerous.
