Recently I've been building other stuff as I joined an RC Club, and just need larger planes to fly . I also realized that I ruined many a Guillows kit in learning to convert small Rc stuff. I should've started out with larger kits first. And I have not had any problems with Guillows wood. It's stronger than most other kits. But their design is VERY heavy,
. The "B" formers are too thick. I have built planes twice as large and the same weight. They often use a "box" construction with small formers and then stringers to add strenghth.
