Best flyer in the 300 series?

Hi everyone,

I've been building static models for a with good success, however I'd like to try to build one to fly. I'd like to stick with the 300 series and was wondering if there was one that was a better flyer overall. Any thoughts on this?

I assume you are looking for a rubber band powered model. The Porter PC-6 is the best flying 300 seies. With its long nose it needs less nose weight to reach balance. Try to do everything you can to lighten the tail (fuselage aft of the center of gravity). It can almost compete as a P-30 model. The best flying scale Guillow is the 700 series Fairchild 24.
