Unfortunately i decided to self this project indefinitely. In the meantime i will work on EFF electric free flight on a 500 series kit. I already have the timer, motor and battery.

After the 500 series build i will build a EFF electric free flight version of the F14.

The 500 series build EFF is coming nicely. I had already started on it and now am revisiting the build. I am cutting the parts from Contest Balsa Wood and am very optimistic about it flying.

It was perfect day for flying. Since it only takes one hand to launch an EFF. I decided to change my video technique. Basicaly i just held up a camera with my other hand. The model plane is a Guillow's 900 series reduced to Peanut size.

This is my first 500 series kit that i will fly EFF electric free flight. I have always thought that the 500 series kit where designed for the Cox motor. The deal breaker for rubber power i think is the nose balancing clay. I plan on using the battery as front nose wieght.

I installed the motor and timer. If i can get this model to fly i will build another 500 series kit. I will also start a new topic thread.

Sorry i did not get good video of the experimental 500 series kit flying. It did fly well enough to make me want to build another. I will probably start a new thread tommorow.

I was able to capture some flying video of the Avenger. Unfortunately it did hit a tree and will need repairs. However it did fly well untill it hit the tree.
