Sanding laser cut parts

Postby WFDAWG » Fri Jul 17, 2015 10:57 pm

Hello...I am new to this forum.

I have a question regarding laser cut parts...especially as it applies to the Wright Flyer. I have read that sanding the burnt edges of the parts can be a "tedious" undertaking. But I'd like to know from someone who has actually built this model what their experience was.

Thanks to anyone who can share that info.

Yes it is a tedious affair to sand each and every one of those pieces that are used on the Flyer, But it is well worth it.

If you look close, I didn't get all of the burn marks off of the wood, just most of them.
