hi!
im new to model building. got a kit from bmjr. its the ugly cat.
although it doesnt fly, you fine gentlemen might be able to advise me on the proper glue/technique to use.
in the directions they say to tack w/ca, then glue.
i like the idea of ca w/kicker. it would make joints stay put faster.
will this method create a weaker joint than using just wood glue?
thank you!

i am inclined to believe that both methods work pretty well. CA glue is just a little messier. i switched earlier this year from CA to White glue and ill never go back. ive never tried tacking it with CA glue then puting on more glue or whatever you mean by that. i will say i think it is easier to stick to one glue for all. i usually use white glue for general building and if something is really hard to clamp and jard under tention or something, i often add a little CA. i try not to make it too complicated.
