I just got the final addition to my 1000 series collection delivered to my door for 49.99. If anybody knows of a better deal I'm still in the market for the B-24 and P-38 in the future. Over the last year it seems the prices are slowly creaping up and as you all know it very rarely (like never) goes back down.

Cliff

I will do searches on ebay every now and again. Just recently scored the P-47 for 29.95. It was not listed in any of the hobby catagorys that we modelers usually search.

It doesnt happen all of the time, but its worth the try.

I'm currently buying all my kits on E-Bay. What I do is subtract the freight from 20 bucks. That's my max bid. Win some lose some. I've currently got 23 kits in line to be built, then blown up. Eventually I have won every plane I've wanted.

Sometimes the kit is not in too good a shape, but if I've got the plans....

Of course, there's that pesky B-29...

I always use a search engine to find the best deal on any item.
