Which one?

Okay... I want to build another plane, for rubber powered free flight. Which would fly better, a Fokker DR-1, or a P-51 Mustang? Probably 20"-24" winspan- it might be scratch-built, or a kit. Have not decided which. I am looking to build flyers ONLY, so should I just stick to high wing designs? Thanks.
