Beechcraft Musketeer - why

Just wondering why the beechcraft Musketeer has not been built very much. There are no pictures on virtual aerodrome and I can only find one build on here.

Is there something I'm missing as this is a pretty looking plane

Just my opinion, but here goes:

2 strikes against the plane as far as a rubber powered free flight project.

1.. it's low wing. I've seen the 500 series warbirds fly well, but if you gotta have a low wing kit, why not a warbird?

2.. tricycle landing gear. weight weight weight...

I agree that it's a kewl looking kit. I think I'll go get me one and build it 90"... Paint it green...

anyway... Guys?

I don't see why the Beechcraft would not fly well. I have not built one, and don't know anyone who has, but I have seen several successful Piper Cherokee's from the same kit series. The trick is to keep it light and build it absolutely straight.

Okay first, I'll build it right out of the box for rubber, I've got some new Esaki in multiple colors just itching to get used... Then I'm going to double the size oof the plane and fly it with my .09 motor in a circle...
