Hello Everyone

Just thought I would introduce myself. My name is Mike, and I think this is a cool place with lots of good tips on how to build these plains to fly.

As of right now I have three plains going.
400 Messerschmitt
500 Focke-Wulf 190
500 Spitfire
I made a lot of these planes got two to fly the rest were displays.
Lets face it I'm not the best when it comes to covering the models LOL

hey mike im fairly new too
i found covering tricky with dope
but allot easier with white glue pva
my first kit was quite big i followed the covering prosess on the guillows plan sectioning it neatly overlappong on spars verry time consuming but great result
my next kit is a p40 warhawk half the size i plan to use the wet tissue method this time covering whole sections
i guess it all part of the fun practise and picking up tips and trick's untill you find a way that suit's you
good juck

I'm going to try the covering on my Spitfire here soon. I did take in to consideration on how unbalanced this plane is.
My 400 Messerschmitt came out very balanced no clay needed. I made it for my 4ry old son so we could hang it from his ceiling in his room. Next one will fly lol.
By the way nice to meet you Jim
