electric power for guillows

Postby r wheatley » Sat Dec 19, 2009 10:46 am

hello all, while I'm not new to building guillows kits , I am new to the electric power for them, could some one suggest a good elec motor for the 300 series guillows, I want to build it free-flight. also where I might order one.

thanks, Ronnie

Hi Ronnie.....look at the GWS brushed geared motors. The LPS series might be a good choice.

Check them out here:

ok at risk of sounding completely stupid, I will ask anyway
for elec powered freeflight for say a 300 series, if I buy one of the gwp motors, how do i know what battery pack to use, how can you control the length of time the motor runs?
as you can tell i dont know much about the eletronics but really would appreacite any help
